Aurora

Polar Lights, Aurora borealis and Aurora australis, arise when electrically charged particles in the magnetosphere encounter heavy ions in the upper layers of the atmosphere. The various types differ scientists as follows: uniform band radiating arch, beam-shaped band, diffuse surface, vibrant area, pulsating arc, corona (annular beams), Zenith-directed jets, pulsating jets. In the past and also in science fiction, auroras are a side effect of supernatural events.
